I had a work trip in the not so interesting city of Shaumburg, IL and my parents drove over from Detroit to spend some time with me.
One of the days we visited the
Spring Valley Nature Center. Here's where we were:
After having been surrounded by hotels, car lots, and business parks for days I found the green and the birds refreshing. Some pretty diverse sections of this 135 acre park. Glad I always try to find green spaces nearby when I'm traveling.
